SpiritHouse is working with local healers and herbalists of color to provide immune boosting tonics and teas, as well as information about foods vitamins and herbs that can be useful at this time. Their primary outreach has been to low wealth essential workers, and undocumented workers (many of whom are afraid to go to the doctor). They are in the planning stages of working with local birth doulas to co- hosting a series of webinars for pregnant and new parent families. Spirit House hope to provide these women with extra support and will make sure that they have everything they need. Finally they will work with Black owned restaurants to provide weekly meals for Black elders living alone and in public housing.
