North Carolina Black Leadership and Organizing Collective launched a COVID-19 & community support fund to help local leaders, business, organizations, and collectives respond to COVID-19 related issues with the intention to helping the alternatives last beyond this moment. Currently they have launched 8 identity funds through their Ella Baker Project that includes the following Black populations: Trans, women, gig economy folks, creatives, healers, HCBU students, land and famers, and organizations and individuals in the field of climate justice. Additional they have lauded a larger general support and emergency fund to their networks partners.
